PRIVACY POLICY · PRE-LAUNCH DRAFT

Your information. Your choices.

This draft describes the current technical design. Operator identity, contact details, hosting location, retention periods, and jurisdiction-specific terms must be completed and reviewed before public launch.

What we collect.

Your sign-in email and Firebase account identifier; profile information you choose to share; city and country; languages and interests; privacy preferences; age and agreement timestamps; posts, comments, events, connections, messages, and reports. We do not request a diagnosis, medical records, exact home location, or date of birth.

What other people can see.

Your email and private account records are not part of your profile. Profiles are members-only unless you make yours public. You can hide your city and separately opt into public city listings. Posts and events have explicit visibility settings. Private event details are restricted to the host and confirmed attendees.

Messages and moderation.

One-to-one messages are available to conversation participants, subject to account and blocking restrictions. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. The moderation team may access reported conversation context to investigate abuse, with access recorded in an audit log. The reported member cannot see the reporter’s identity.

Infrastructure and storage.

Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase Hosting, and App Check support this service. Exact production resource locations and applicable Google processing terms must be recorded by the operator before launch. No marketing trackers or analytics are included in this release.

Export, correction, and deletion.

Edit your profile and privacy choices in settings. Export your own data as JSON in account settings. Exports are generated in your browser and are not stored as downloadable server files. Deletion first disables access, then removes private account data, profile, uploads, notifications, connections, and authentication. Posts, comments, and hosted events are anonymized where preserving a thread is appropriate. Your message text is replaced with a removal notice. Upcoming hosted events are cancelled.

Records that may remain.

Minimal reports and moderation audit records may remain for justified abuse-prevention and legal needs. The operator must define and review retention periods before launch. Content you previously made public may have been copied by others or indexed externally.

Contact and rights requests.

The legal operator and privacy contact are not yet configured. These details must be published before collecting data from the public. This page is a draft for operator review, not a completed legal compliance assessment.
