SAFETY & BELONGING

Your boundaries belong here, too.

Good company starts with care. Thoughtful defaults and clear boundaries make space for real connection.

Share at your own pace.

Profiles are members-only by default. Your email stays private, city location is optional on your profile, and public city listings are opt-in. We never ask for your home address, diagnosis records, or precise location.

You choose who can reach you.

By default, only accepted connections can message you. You can enable message requests in privacy settings. You can disconnect or block a member at any time. Blocked members are not notified.

Meet thoughtfully.

Choose a public place for a first meeting. Let someone you trust know your plans. You can leave an event or a conversation whenever you feel uncomfortable. Do not share financial information or send money to someone you have just met.

Speak up when something feels wrong.

Report a profile, post, comment, event, or conversation using its report action. Reports are private from the reported member. The moderation team can review relevant context and take action under the Community Guidelines. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Food decisions stay with you.

GF Friends helps members connect. Hosts and venues are independent. Always verify ingredients, preparation methods, and cross-contact risks directly with the venue.

Experiences are personal reports.

Experiences shared by members are personal reports and may become outdated. Ingredients, kitchens, staff, and cross-contact practices can change. Always confirm your own requirements directly with a venue.
